The Poppy Fund
Prior to the Remembrance Day Assembly, students will receive a poppy to wear as a symbol of remembrance and respect for those who have served and sacrificed for our country. In addition, we will be also be accepting donations for the Poppy Fund, which ensures that The Legion can continue to provide over 800 Veterans and their families in Alberta and the NWT each year with:
- Shelter, clothing and food
- Mental and physical health supports
- Medication and medical equipment
- Assistance accessing benefits and program through Veterans Affairs Canada
- assistance in the transition to civilian life
- Investment in research and programming to support physical and mental health
Donations will be collected Friday morning in homeroom classes and any time in the office. Your donations show Veterans just how much their service means to you and to Canada by helping us change their lives for the better, every day.

Dr. George Stanley Gear Online Store is now open! You can purchase hoodies, t-shirts, shorts, and more to show your school spirit. All items sold are produced in Canada. This is your opportunity to support Canadian producers and distributors!
